Only 81 days to go!

Here is my beautiful belly at 28 weeks. I had a great photo session with Leslie last weekend. You can view her amazing work at:

She also took some great shots of Tenzin enjoying the first of our summer. The weather was amazing so we spent a day laying on the beach. Finally! Summer is here!

Spring!

Here are some of the spring crafts we've been making. Our Cherry blossoms are so beautiful outside we make some to keep all year.
The egg and chics went home in baskets of wheat grass the children planted. The tissue paper eggs were fun to make. The children loved to peel off the bleeding tissue after it was dry to see what colors were left on the eggs.

Most of the pictures of Tenzin don't need words.... Tenzin speaks for himself with expression.
We had fun visiting the alpacas with their babies this spring.

Tomorrow is Tenzin's friend party so we're off to make cupcakes and presents tonight...

Good life

Whew, it's been a while....
I'm already 19 weeks pregnant?! yikes! I am feeling the little bean jumping in there all the time now. It even woke me up last night (already!) I'm not even half way though my pregnancy... There goes sleeping again for the next 3 years. Gosh, I was starting to get into sleeping again...

As you can see from the pictures below Tenzin is loving life! Everyone is always commenting on how happy he always is. He has also *just* figured out that he missed out on the "terrible two's" and has some catching up to do. He really was SO good for SO long. It was only a matter of time before he started to rebel.

I am feeling good, and will get my 20 week ultrasound in 2 days! (Tai's birthday)
It's going to be an exciting day because Tai and I also get to go away for the night! (Our first night away from Tenzin) Tenzin will be staying with his Nana and Tutu so he'll be happy. The are planning on spoiling him for easter so it's a good thing I won't be there.
Being the only grandchild can really pay off! : )

I'm gearing up to go baby shopping! I'm really excited because we can actually decorate a little nursery this time! The baby will still be sleeping in our room most of the time, but I think decorating a nursery is a great way to mentally prepare for the baby. Plus, shopping cures most pregnancy ailments instantly! (everything except swollen ankles apparently)

Thanks to Auntie Leslie for the cool fish eye pic of Tenzin (below) As you can see he is quite a hoot these days!
We have 10 days off, and won't be doing much but catching up with things in the house and preschool. I have been busy with re-enrollment (exciting!)
I'm getting a lot of pressure to let children in, but there are only so many spaces! It's quite stressful actually... I am getting bribed and begged by desperate parents that won't put their children in any other school. Sometimes I wish I had a board or director so that it wouldn't all be on me : ) I guess the fact that our school has rave reviews is a good thing. ALL of our families from this year want to continue next year! I keep hearing that "the word on the street is that your waiting list is so long there is no point getting put on it!" I am also interviewing assistants for next year. That is stressful too.
So, on a good note I am in my second trimester- feeling absolutely fabulous, and have a belly to show off already. I am going to meet a new midwife tomorrow. I hope she is the one I've been looking for, because I don't really want to look any longer. The birth center is in Kirkland, and only minutes away from my Auntie Cathy's house. It will be nice to have somewhere to stay if I think the baby is close. I'm not really down for car birth : )
Tai got a new computer, so now we look like true geeks with side by side computers! He is taking a web design class and really likes it. He also likes having his own thing that isn't the school. He can keep up with things and have something to do next year when he is no longer my assistant. (Besides going to Tibet and building a house!) Well, we hope building a house. Tenzin hopes so too, he keeps saying "Pappa can use a big digger and build a big house!" Tai is already his hero, but a little construction would surely make him even cooler.
